Emsworth Slipper SC's Slipper Shiver - Hampshire, 5th Jan
Eager to kick start 2019 with some keen competition we had an incredible turnout of 18 RS Aeros at the Slipper Shiver at the top of Chichester Harbour. This represented 40% of the 46 boat entry! The number of RS Aeros enjoying their day out at the Slipper Shiver has steadily built over the past 5 years.
The 90 minute Pursuit Race race format gave the first starting slowest boat, the Mirror, 90 minutes and then the staggered starts gave the RS Aero 5s 73 minutes, RS Aero 7s 69 minutes and RS Aero 9s 66 minutes before the race was finished at the lead boat after the 90 minutes expired at 11:30.
