15/02/2016 16:12:44Three Santa Barbara based RS Aeros have committed for the US National Championships in the Columbia River Gorge, Portland, this summer.
Needing some high wind lake sailing practice, four went last Saturday to Lopez Lake, long a big breeze favourite with windsurfers and kiteboarders. Jim Muir won the day, but had to work for it against an improving Yannick Gloster.
With both wind and temperature peaking in the mid 20s the Californians are able to get in those extra quality hours on the water whilst many northern USA and European venues are suffering the cold!
