Light winds at the Goblin Regatta, Santa Barbara, California - Oct 2016
Thanks to Yannick Gloster of Santa Barbara, California, for this edited footage from the RS Aero US Nationals 2016. This event was hosted by CGRA at the Columbia River Gorge, Cascade Locks, Oregon. Over 5 days there was scheduled a 2 day clinic, 1 day of long distance race and Speed Contest (which became a practice race due to a light breeze) and finally a 2 day US National Championship. Bang on cue, the breeze arrived in abundance on the last two days and steadily increased during each day. By Sunday afternoon we had gusts up to 31kn, which was certainly and exciting way to finish the week!
Yannick Gloster's great video of the 2015 North American Champs. 2016 saw blue skies and more wind.
Dion once again having a ball, ripping it up on the Gulf of Mexico off Corpus Christi, Texas. You don't need to go racing to have fun! Great to see the RS Aero standing up to that pounding. Especially when the mast hits the sea bottom and the hull is washed onto it with the force of the surf (1:15).

Lake of the Pines, Sacramento, USA - drone footage. New RS Aero owner, Ross Tokmakian, in California, having fun in 1879 with a drone follow him around Lake of the Pines near Sacramento (home of the Deftones!) Ross commented; "Finally got some video! Having a blast in Force 0-4 winds. Very gusty. LOVING the Aero. Named her Addiction!" Ross is looking forward to competing in the US National Championships on the Columbia River Gorge this August.

RS AERO vs SUNFISH on a semi planning run. ''They Told Me Aeros are fast, but did I believe them? Nooo. Until last night, that is. Here I was, happily in second place on and off a plane on the first downwind leg. Then this happened...''

At the clinic prior to the RS Aero USA Atlantic Coast Championship in Newport, Rhode Island, Marc Jacobi gave a talk to the sailors on RS Aero rigging and sail controls. Thanks to Gary Werden of the Boston Aero Fleet for the video and to Marc Jacobi for the informative clinic.
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS Another cool vid of more RS Aero 9 fun in a good breeze by Dion. Looks just like the good breezes in the UK recently but wait, what is that blue at the top of the screen?
