Lac de Monteynard-Avignonet is an artificial water reservoir on the river Drac at 630m above sea level, bounded by the canyons of the Drac and Ebron, in the department of Isère.
The lake is 10 kilometres long, and in some places up to 300 metres wide. It is often windy and wavy due to the canyon funnelling and is considered to be one of the best places for sail sports in Europe
