04/06/2026 16:00:31🏁 International Aero Regatta 2026 – Cannobio, Lake Maggiore 🇮🇹 🇨🇭 Beautiful sunshine, a steady 12–15 knot thermal breeze, spectacular Alpine scenery and 43 RS Aeros from 9 nations combined to make this year's International Aero Regatta in Cannobio another outstanding event on the European Circuit. Over three days and ten races, sailors from Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, the UK, Australia and the USA enjoyed near-perfect racing conditions on Lake Maggiore. 🏆 Fleet Winners 🔹 Aero 6 – Sophie Crosbie (IRL) dominated with 10 race wins from 10 starts. 🔹 Aero 7 – Victor de Ripainsel (BEL) claimed victory with seven race wins. 🔹 Aero 9 – Madhavan Thirumalai (USA) delivered a near-perfect series with eight race wins. A huge thank you to Club Vela Leone, the race management team, volunteers and everyone who helped make the event such a success.
