30/06/2026 15:00:17🏁 2026 French RS Aero National Championship – Erquy, Brittany 🇫🇷 Twenty-two RS Aeros from six nations gathered in the beautiful Breton town of Erquy for a fantastic weekend of racing from 26–28 June. Friday's coaching, kindly supported by RS France, gave competitors a great chance to get familiar with the venue before two days of racing that served up everything from frustrating drifting conditions to exhilarating 25+ knot winds and big waves! 🏆 Overall Results 🥇 Gilles Peeters 🥈 Nico Honor (on countback) 🥉 Christophe Cammili 👏 Congratulations also to: • First Lady: Laure Joly (BEL) • First Youth: Gabin Baly (FRA) A special mention goes to Roy Van Maanen (IRE), who has now completed the remarkable achievement of competing in all 11 RS Aero National Championships held across the different countries that host the class. Well done too to the international travellers Andy Wilkins (GBR), Laure Joly (BEL), Phillip Ebert (SUI) and Maria-Luisa Ojeda (AUS), and a huge thank you to RS France for their coaching, support, prizes and help in organising the event. Despite the challenging and ever-changing weather, everyone agreed Erquy was a superb venue, with many already hoping for a return in 2027. 📖 Read the full event report and results here: https://www.rsaerosailing.org/index.aspp=results&rid=4604 #RSAero #RSAeroSailing #FrenchNationals #Sailing #SailRacing #DinghySailing #Regatta #Erquy #Brittany #France #SailingLife #RaceWeek #OneDesign #WorldSailing #Sailors #RSFrance
