I bought it off the original owner who used it on recreationally Lake Union for fun and had loaned it to a neighbor who raced it a couple of times. The bow had some damage (hitting the dock from what I can tell) that I repaired. It also had a spots with light punctures (the hull is very thin) and I repaired those as well. I didn’t cover any of them with gel coat but that’d be fairly easy if important to you (RS sells the matching white). Otherwise it could use some new daggerboard “fluff” which is cheaper and easy to install. If you’d like to start racing it, I’d likely recommend doing some of the upgrades/reinforcements they’ve built over the years including a mast step collar stiffener, main block attachment and most race boats seem to have switched to over the deck rigging. None of this would be required right away but are logical updates and fairly straightforward updates.
