Fantastic to see 21 RS Aero 9s racing in Bavaria!

The German RS Aero 9 National Championships were held on the beautiful and large Starnberger See lake near Munich in Bavaria over the weekend of the 10/11th September sponsored by Intersport Thallmair.

Twenty one RS Aero 9s entered making it the largest RS Aero 9 event in the World so far this year with four different nationalities present, representing three different countries (Germany, Switzerland and France). With the Bavarian Alps in the background and based at the beautiful and efficiently run Deutsch Touring YC competitors enjoyed an excellent two days of racing in at times, testing conditions!

RS Aero 9 German Championship and RS Aero 5 and 7 Ranking Event
at the Intersport Thallmair German Open

17 RS Aero 9s already signed up from 3 countries!

The RS Aeros compete for the first time at the Intersport Thallmair German Open for RS Aero 9, RS Aero 5 & 7 Cup, alongside the first German Open for the RS Tera Sport & Pro!

The RS Aero 9s will use the occasion to contest their National championship, while the RS Aero 5s and 7s have a standard ranked event.

This will be the German Class' first time visiting one of Germany's top sailing clubs in southern Germany on the beautiful Sarnberger See just south of Munich.
