RS Aero youth test sails
During the three day event in Sicily, the young athletes of the Open Skiff Class also had the opportunity to try their hand in the larger class, the RS Aero. They took advantage of the light wind of the last day to make their first test sails on the larger lightweight RS Aero which for them will represent a natural continuation.
President of the class association, Guido Sirolli, paid tribute to the event organisers who during a difficult period managed to organise a good event and demonstration in total safety, ensuring the utmost respect for health protocols. He added: "Athletes took the opportunity to return to sport at the highest level. We have witnessed some really hard-fought regattas"
