''...Unfortunately the weather forecast has if anything got worse since yesterday. XCWeather is predicting winds of 29mph gusting 41 mph at 10.00 increasing to 31mph gusting 46 mph at 1.00 and getting windier thereafter. In the light of this and considering the safety of competitors and the Spinnaker volunteers, the difficulties of running safety boats with social distancing and potential damage to boats as well, I have reluctantly decided to cancel the Open Meeting.
I am very sorry about this and hope we can attract you back to Spinnaker soon....

LAST CALL - for the Spinnaker SC open on Saturday 24th at their pretty New Forest lake. We can all learn a lot from sailing on small lakes to complement our open water skills and it will be a nice day out with a change of scenery.
17 RS Aeros are now entered which is great and there is a limit of 30. Entry closes Wednesday 21st night, get signed up!
RS AERO 6 - The prototype RS Aero 6 rigs are available to borrow at the Spinnaker Open which is a good opportunity as all RS Aeros will be racing together on PY. Please let me know if you would like to try one out, one is reserved already.

Jae Jones offers a warm welcome to visitors for the Spinnaker SC RS Aero Open;
Come and sail in the beautiful surroundings of our scenic lake on the edge of the New Forest. This is the first ever RS Aero Open meeting to be held at Spinnaker Sailing Club and it will be a great day of racing. We look forward to welcoming you to our club!
There is a limit of 30 boats in order to manage social distancing. The spacious car parks, multiple launch points and outdoor covered areas will all help to achieve a socially distanced and hygienic event.
