POSH Regatta - Paignton SC, Devon, UK, 9/10 May *CANCELLED*
'Following the public address by the UK Prime Minister on Monday 23rd March 2020 and the subsequent updated guidance from HM Government, Public Health England and the Royal Yachting Association regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Paignton Sailing Club (PSC) regretfully announce the abandonment of #POSH2020 with immediate effect. This is of course very disappointing but clearly the only decision we could make at this stage. All those who have already entered will be contacted shortly by SailRacer with arrangements for refunds. PSC will be covering the admin fees involved so entrants will receive their whole entry fee back. This process may take sometime due to the current situation so please bear with us. Once the current crisis has passed, we will be working hard on next year’s event in order to make it the biggest and best POSH yet.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the volunteers, staff, sponsors and other stakeholders for their hard work in planning this event – a lot of work goes into a regatta like this behind the scenes.
