Round 8 of the RS Aero UK Winter Series
What a day! Mild but windy, with 3 races held in an increasing wind from 10kn quickly building the 20kn gusts for the 2nd & 3rd races. With long laps around King George's reservoir the 64 mixed class starters were set for an exciting day, awesome early season race practice and an excellent workout!
- The RS Aero 5s were the largest fleet with 8 boats!
- The RS Aero 7s move up a place to 2nd overall in the Top-Class results, from 81 Classes.
- Tim Hire retains his lead as top Youth and moves up to 5th out of 610 entries in the overall series!

After a fantastic showing at the Bloody Mary with a whopping fleet of 61 RS Aeros in the mass 288 boat mixed fleet the next Selden SailJuice Winter Series event is The King George Gallop on Sunday 26th.
Entries are limited to 80 so do sign up promptly!
Access to KGSC is easy, situated just 2 miles off the M25 on the north side of London.
The format is for 3 back-to-back races and the 1st start is at 11:00
