Well done to the seven RS Aeros that pitched up to the Draycote Dash, Round 1 of this winter's Selden SailJuice Winter Series in the UK.
Great racing in a medium breeze on an autumn day. The 118 competitors were split over 3 start and results based on the corrected average lap times. A full day of four races was able to be held on the Saturday but the wind forgot to turn up for Sunday's pursuit race which could't take place.
Congratulations to Ellie Craig who finished 1st Lady and to Tim Hire as 2nd Youth.
With to top 3 results for every Class in each race counting towards the Top Class contest the RS Aero 7s have laid down their first marker on the overall Selden SailJuice Series scoreboard.
NEXT UP on the Selden SailJuice Winter Series is the Datchet Flyer on the 7/8Dec. In the meantime this Saturday 30th sees the RS Aero UK Winter Series kick off at the Bowmoor Bubble.
