Brilliant races at Hallwil in Switzerland with lovely sunshine and more like summer than the autumn!
There are lots of RS Aeros spread across Switzerland and the Lago Maggiore International RS Aero Regatta has been their prime focus over the past two seasons. With such beautiful lakes there it is great to see the Swiss fleet starting to join up for some events!
They had a good breeze of 10-15 knots and gusts of up to 20 knts! A very shifty wind, with changes in wind direction of up to 90 degrees providing for a testing weekend!
All three RS Aero rigs were represented and of all the dinghies at the Hallwil Dinghy Weekend the RS Aeros mixed well and held their own. Scored using the Swiss PYs, Andreas Gerster came out as top RS Aero and in 2nd overall, just behind the lead 505.
