RS Aero Sustainability Challenge Burghfield SC, Berks, UK
11th May
The annual Sustainability Challenge in partnership with The Green Blue was hosted by Burghfield Sailing Club having been rescheduled from Broadwater due to light airs. The annual challenge is to remind class members of our sustainability commitments and in doing so to help protect the environment at the clubs we visit. The three trophies provided by The Green Blue were up for grabs and hotly contested throughout the day.
It was excellent to see 32 RS Aeros with Class racing in 3 fleets. Variety is everything and we were treated to light and shifty in the morning followed by a brisk afternoon to stretch the lightweights....
Thanks to Nigel Rolfe for his report...
