RS Aero UK Inland, Ladies and Masters Champs

13/14th October Round 5 of the RS Aero UK Southern Circuit.
After an adverse forecast and rain we ended up with 53 entries which was a great turnout, even after a further 9 pre-entered sailors had stayed home with the storm warning.
Thanks to Andrew Frost for his report and thanks to Primrose Salt and Mike Pearce braving the weather to capture their great photos.

Last call for the Inlands (and Ladies and Masters Champs).
Online entry closes Thursday midnight (pay on the day). You can still enter on the day too, but it would be a great help to the Club if you sign up in advance.
We are now up to 53 entries so far! This is a record breaking inlands and has smashed the 50 barrier. Will we make over 60 to be our largest RS Aero weekend event in our first 4 seasons though? At these numbers we are assured great Class racing in the three RS Aero fleets.
The forecast would seem to have something for everyone with breeze on Saturday and light to medium on Sunday. A true all round test!

Greg has booked 40 seats in the Bear & Swan at Chew Magna for dinner and drinks. Contact him on either Facebook messenger or by e-mail to reserve one, last few remaining.
Camping

We are now up to 43, still with a week to go, which makes the upcoming RS Aero UK Inland Champs at Chew the largest ever, beating the 41 we had at Chelmarsh! We are assured great Class racing fleets in all three RS Aero Classes. Will we make 50?
At the UK Nationals in May we agreed that the RS Aero UK Inland Championships 2018 would also include the RS Aero Ladies & Masters UK Championship. This support of the categories complements the dedicated UK Youth Champs, already 2 seasons old now.
Ladies Champs
With 15 Ladies registered so far, over one third of the total, this is also a new record high proportion of the total fleet.

EVENT UPGRADE!
At the UK Nationals we agreed that the RS Aero UK Inland Championships 2018 would also include the RS Aero Ladies & Masters UK Championship. This support of the categories complements the dedicated UK Youth Champs (U22) held at Lymington, 1/2 Sept.
The Chew RS Aero fleet look forward to welcoming the RS Aeros to our 4th Inlands, taking place at their pretty lake.
Greg will announce the Saturday night plan very soon. Usual formula likely ;-)
