Sustainability Challenge RS Aero Open
Island Barn Reservoir Sailing Club, West London, 17 March in partnership with The Green Blue
They say mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun – well they also go out in the freezing cold...
On Saturday 17th March amidst yellow snow warnings and a force 5-7 may have put off some entrants but the Sustainability Challenge RS Aero Open at Island Barn went ahead whilst many other sailing events were cancelled across the country.

The RS Aero UK Class Association's partnership with
The Green Blue will continue to build on the efforts of the 2017 season. We have been working with The Green Blue to promote awareness and increase sustainability in our Class and sport, in an endeavour to minimise the impact of our activities on the environment.
In 2018 our Sustainability Challenge will be raced for at Island Barn Reservoir SC following the success of the first event at Burghfield SC last year.
The Green Blue have kindly donated annual RS Aero Sustainability Trophies for each rig size which will be awarded at this event.
