Congratulations to Harry Jones of Draycote for winning his handicap fleet in an RS Aero 7. Great to see 5 RS Aeros out at Ullswater in March, a large proportion of that fleet of 16 - and that's with another RS Aero owner Ed Storey opting to go doublehanded in his National 12!
Like other Easter Regattas across the country the series was cut short by Storm Katie. After Saturday and Sunday were blown off, they took part in three windward leeward races and one longer race on Monday. A similar fate was suffered by nearby Bassenthwaite where two more RS Aeros, Harry and Caitlin, where competing.
Maybe we should have made this part of the Northern Circuit, perhaps next year with a later Easter?
