REPORT AND RESULTS
Thank you to Richard Watsham for penning the Report. A little different from the last time I went to this event and an onshore 30kn gale was bouncing waves off the sea wall!
It was fantastic for the RS Aero 9 to take the overall win in the near 100 boat fleet.

There is a 100 boat limit on this event and 52 are entered already after 4 days, such is the popularity of the Starcross Steamer. Get your entries in to not miss out.
I am entered and looking forward to it. I did this event a few years ago and it is a nice day out at SYC and the Exe estuary.

This annual south west classic always has a popular following. Held on the top of the spring tide in the lovely Exe estuary.
First warning signal; 10:30am, high tide 11:40am
Format; One pursuit race
Entry fee; adults £10, juniors £5

Due to the popularity of the event there is a limit on entries of 100.
The Starcross Steamer is also part of a three race 'South West Series', the others being the 'Roadford Rocket' on Sunday March 13th and 'Wimbleball Beastie' held a week later on Sunday 20th March.
