We just concluded our first Aero regatta at the Seattle CYC POD regatta.
The event was light with wind from the south, up to 8 knots on Saturday and zero on Sunday. Huge 14 foot flood tide made the upwind shorter and the downwind legs very, very long. Fortunately we got in 5 races on Saturday. We had four Aero 9 rigs and one 7 starting together.
This was very much a learning regatta and we all were experimenting with what trim worked best in these conditions. But there smiles all round as the boat is responsive and fun to race even in light conditions.
