Bloody Mary - QMSC - Saturday 10th Jan

Tom,
The air temperature was actually quite warm! (except for the water).

The problem was the 40kn+ we arrived to. Fortunately the gusts were only 30kn odd during the race!

I would love to join you, I have many happy memories of thawing out my mainsheet  and hands on the storage heaters at Queen Mary!
Still, I will have to suffer and sail in 80 degree sunshine with only three Aero's and a few dolphins to keep me  company.

Come and join me, Team Luxembourg and our Chairman Peter Townend for an Aeroblast!
There are always a lot of reaches around the lake at Queen Mary, yeehaa!

'RS Aero 5' and 'RS Aero 7' sailors;
Please do not be put off by the Bloody Mary's NOR listing only one start time for 'RS Aero' which would appear to be the number relating to the 9 rig. QM have confirmed today that that start list was produced in September and is out of date. As per my conversation with them in November, they will be using three distinct start times for the three RS Aero fleets in line with the Great Lakes Handicaps List, as expected. They will publish the amended start time list soon and it will be available on the day.
So go for it!

BLOODY MARY - SATURDAY 10TH JAN
With all the focus on our Winter Champs at Oxford this Saturday lets not overlook this all-time winter classic in just a week's time. Incredibly the RS Aero 9s are currently the 8th largest fleet entered. This is bolstered by our International chums in Team Luxembourg coming to visit, keen to experience this UK 350 boat classic. Who is up for joining them and making a good RS Aero race of it?
