History Made at the Frensham Frenzy!

What a fantastic day at Frensham Pond Sailing Club for the 2026 Frensham Frenzy!

Huge congratulations to Peter Barton on taking the overall win in his RS Aero 7 — an incredible achievement and a truly landmark moment for the class. 

This marks the first time ever that an RS Aero has won the Frenzy, with the previous best being a close 2nd place. A breakthrough result and a proud day for Aero sailors!

A big shout-out as well to Mark Soar, who sailed brilliantly to finish 11th in his RS Aero 5 — a strong performance in a competitive mixed fleet.

The conditions couldn’t have been better: a lovely sunny day at the pond, paired with steady breeze that kept the racing tactical and exciting throughout. Classic Frensham conditions that rewarded smart sailing and good boat speed.

A massive thank you to Frensham Pond Sailing Club for running such a great event — expertly organised racing, smooth race management, and a welcoming atmosphere as always.
