'Startlines 101'
New Year is passed and the New Season will soon be upon us!
The first RS Aero UK Winter Training of 2026 is set for Island Barn RSC, West London, on the weekend 24/25 Jan and the focus will be 'Startlines'! That is a perfect inland location and a perfect subject to stay active and warm for a winter training weekend!
The series is open to both adult and youth of all abilities and you can either enter the individual weekends or the whole series at a big discount. With 4 events still to go the discount is still worthwhile for new Youth Entries to join the 'Whole Series' rate.
THE REMAINING LOCATIONS
A mix of coastal and inland venues will allow sailors to develop skills for all types of sailing;
Island Barn RSC - 24/25 Jan 2026 - Startlines 101
Broadwater SC - 14/15 Feb 2026 - Mark Roundings, 360’s and other general boat skills
Paignton SC - 7/8 Mar 2026 - First Beat Tactics, and make the most of those runs
Lymington Town SC - 11/12 Apr 2026 - Putting the pieces together for the season ahead
THE COST
We have been even luckier than ever to again get some EPIC funding from the RS Aero UK Class Association to support the 2025/26 season meaning the cost has reduced even further from last year!
Enter the remaining Series of 4 weekends of on water training (+1 remaining online session) for a saving at the discounted rate of £300 per Youth Sailor (Under 22 on 31.12.26)
Entering Individual Weekends is also possible for the price of £110 per weekend.
