Well done for Starcross YC giving it a good attempt today but ultimately having they had to call it off as conditions worsened the breeze increade during the race.So unfortunately no result today.

However, it is great to see 11 RS Aeros on the 80 boat mixed class entry list. This popular winter event on the pretty Exe Estuary retains its poularity, selling out all 80 entry spaces plus a 10 boat waiting list in the first 24 hours after entries opened!

Who is up for the Steamer next year - it will be a triple-rollover!!!

Great to see 8 RS Aeros within the 80 mixed class boats entered, plus 3 more at the top of the waiting list and likely to get a place after any cancelations.

The 35th running of the Exe Sails and Covers Starcross Steamer 150 minute pursuit race will take place on the 11th of January on the beautiful River Exe.

The Starcross Steamer is a great day out at Starcross Sailing Club racing with 80 other mixed class dinghies on the top of the tide. This is the biggest winter sailing event in the South West, sailed on the beautiful Exe estuary.
