RS Aero NSW State Titles - Balmoral SC, Sydney, NSW, Australia, 29/30 Nov
47 RS Aero made for the largest fleet of RS Aeros to ever grace the beautiful waters of Sydney Harbour, bubbling together for the 2025 Rooster New South Wales State Champs.
With a strong female participation, particularly from the local feet at Balmoral SC, some of of the local ‘She Sails’ RS Aero fleet enjoyed some extra theory training and development as they lead into the event.
On Day 1 with gusts of 35 knots and a ferocious twitchy breeze bouncing off the Balmoral skyline, it was often survival of the fittest and finest. Only one race was able to be completed with the second abandoned due to excessive wind. A tired but elated fleet hit the shore after some incredible reaches with their strong breeze dedicated downwind slalom course providing incredible reaches!
Day 2 provided a perfect Balmoral Nor'Easter with 12kn steadily increasing to 16kn for 3 more excellent races to conclude the series.

As the Salty Dingo RS Aero Australian Champs in Blairgowrie, Melbourne from 18-22 Jan draws closer there are now 74 RS Aeros entered already, set to be the largest event ever in Australia when it overtakes the 76 we have at the Melbourne Worlds in 2019.
