🏁 RS Aero UK Winter Championships 2026 – Hayling Island Sailing Club

This weekend saw the RS Aero UK Winter Championships 2026 bring together some of the UK’s most dedicated dinghy sailors for a weekend of thrilling competition. The forecast promised fresh winter winds and sunshine, and the sailors were certainly put to the test. Across 5 demanding races, competitors battled gusty conditions, shifting winds, and lively chop — all while keeping a sharp eye on strategy, tactics, and each other.

From the very first start, the racing was fast, close, and competitive, with sailors pushing themselves and their boats to the limit. The RS Aero 9, 7, 6 and 5 fleets all saw tight battles, with top sailors demonstrating consistency, smart decision-making, and speed across every race.

Across every race, the fleet showed skill, speed, and consistency, proving the RS Aero is as much about technique and performance as it is about inclusivity and adaptability.
