'Saturday gave three races in glorious sunshine, about 5 knots to start, climbing to 12 gusting 14 knots. A day for subtle sailing settings, playing the shifts, and weaving downwind to make the most of the small waves. Sunday provided variety with more wind than forecast. 15 knots building to 18+, gusting to 21. A much more physically testing day with a couple of capsizes down the fleet, and the Bay still carrying its winter chill. The big Black Rock rolling waves provided exciting downwind rides!'
RS Aero South Australian State Championship at Largs Bay SC, Adelaide, SA, 6/7 Dec. Then in January it is the big one, the Salty Dingo RS Aero Australian Championships at Blairgowrie YS, Melbourne, VIC 18-22 Jan which is set to be the largest Aussie RS Aero event to date, in the build up to the RS Aero World Championship at Blairgowrie in Jan 2027.
