RS Aero North American Championships - Fairhope, AL, USA, Sept 26-28

28 RS Aeros contested the 2025 RS Aero North American Championships in Fairhope YC, Alabama, USA from Sept 26-28.

Light winds prevailed over the event with many sailors enjoying the flexibility to up rig size for a more enjoyable regatta, even in low level of breeze.

Congratulations to Marc Jacobi who took the RS Aero 9 crown with a convincing score including five 1sts in the 8 race series. Madhavan Thirumalai took 2nd and Zak Fanberg 3rd.

In the RS Aero 7s home sailor Eugene Schmidt took the win from Philip Myerson in 2nd and Michael Gavin in 3rd.

Hank Saurage won the RS Aero 6s and Trin Ollinger finished top in the RS Aero 5s.

RS Aero North American Championships - Fairhope Yacht Club, Fairhope, AL, September, Fri 26th - Sun 28th

The 2025 RS Aero North American Championship will be held at Fairhope Yacht Club, AL, in conjunction with the Wadewitz Regatta.

The club will be buzzing and there will be plenty of room for the RS Aero champs too. It'll be a great social scene and will give the RS Aero a lot of exposure in front of the other fleets.

Racing will be 3 days Sep 26, 27, 28 (Fri/Sat/Sun) and there will likely be a warm up coached clinic on Thursday 25th.

The RS Aero Womens North American Championships will take place the following weekend at Fairhope Yacht Club, Oct 3-5th, making the possibility of a double weekend for the women!
