RS Aero Forum

On 21/22 June 2025 the Societa Canottieri Ichnusa was proud to host the 4th stage of the Italian National Circuit for the RS Aero and O'pen Skiff, also valid as a selection for the 2025 Champions Cup, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the season for the RS Aero and O'pen Skiff classes.

For two days the port of Su Siccu the scene of exciting challenges, with the best athletes from all over Italy ready to compete in a technical and spectacular location, where the wind and the sea of Cagliari confirm themselves as ideal protagonists for high-level sailing training. The event represents not only a high-level sporting test, but also a moment of meeting and comparison between young sailors, coaches and companions.

The presence of the O'pen Skiff classes, a hotbed of Italian youth sailing, and the RS Aero, an emerging class with great technical potential, confirms the educational and competitive value of the initiative. Thanks go to all the collaborators, the race officials, the Italian Sailing Federation and the Class for their trust and support in the realisation of this national event.

Congratulations to Enrico Loi (Cagliari) on winning the RS Aero 5s by just 1 point from Leo Nonnis (Cagliari), with Mattia Monti (Rimini) in 3rd. Vittoria Cartelli (Rimini) was top Female in 5th. In the RS Aero 6s Alice Sussarello (LNI Sulcis) won from Michele Manconi (LNI Sulcis) in 2nd and Gianluca Barabino (LNI Sulcis) in 3rd.
