Parnu Purjetamisnadal Regatt EKV1 - Parnu, Estonia, 13/15 June
26 RS Aeros visited Parnu in south west Estonia for the Parnu Purjetamisnadala Regatt EKV1, whilst another 5 were competing in the far north eastern corner at Narva Joesuu.
Equal numbers raced in the RS Aero 5 and RS Aero 6 rigs, together with the ILCAs. The weather offered perfect summer weather, warm sun and a moderate arctic wind created good conditions for sailing.
Congratulations to Jessika Joesaar (Hara SS) on winning the RS Aero 5s whilst Kristo Ounap (Saaremaa SS) won the RS Aero 6s.
The growing Estonian RS Aero fleet is getting set for the upcoming RS Aero World and Youth World Championship at Quiberon, France on 27th July, with 10 sailors set to travel the width of western Europe to join the record fleet of 160 worldwide RS Aero sailors, the largest gathering so far outside the UK.
