The RS Aero 6 German Open took place on Lake Dummer on the weekend of 10/11 May. A total of 15 sailors registered and traveled from various parts of Germany to compete in this growing and dynamic boat class.

Congratulations to Juliane Brathel who sailed in impressive form for the victory of the German RS Aero 6 Open. Markus Walthur also performed strongly, finishing a well-deserved second, followed by Wolf Scheder-Bieschin, who fought hard for third place.

All participants looked back on a successful event - with good organisation, fair racing, and a great atmosphere on and off the water and whetted the appetite for the next events.

Results

Next the German RS Aero Class returns to Hamburg for two days of racing at Hamburger Meisterschaft hosted by the Norddeutscher RV on 24/25 May, one of Germany’s largest and most respected sailing clubs. Once again, their facilities on the shores of the Alster lake will allow for great spectating of the city-centre racing.
