Lymington Town SC Open - Hampshire, UK, 17th May
17 RS Aeros turned out to enjoy the Lymington RS Aero Open and were blessed with blue skies and a moderate sea breeze. The fleet raced together on PY using corrected time scoring with RS Aero 6s, 7s and 9s represented. There were no discards, no dress rehearsals, in the three race series as that would be just too wasteful on a beautiful sunny day - what with the price of fuel and all.....

Lymington Town SC RS Aero Open - Hampshire, UK, Sat 17 May
We had 14 entries as the late entry fee kicked in at the end of last week and the Club has confirmed we have critical mass to go ahead with the event. Hopefully we will see more late entries in the run up to the event this week. The forecast looks lovely with 0% cloud cover and a nice medium breeze!
Racing at Lymington is always a splendid day out and excellent fun for all. Three back to back races in the varied conditions and of the tidal western Solent should be on every keen aspiring RS Aero sailors calendar if they are hoping to upskill in preparation for this summer's main Championships!
We look forward to racing either an all in PY corrected time race or if there is an obvious split we may have a couple of starts and Class racing. That detail will be confirmed at the race Briefing, after rig sizes are confirmed at Registration on Saturday morning.

Online Entry is Open!
Lymington is well known to the RS Aero fleet and with a large home fleet we are sure of a good turnout to enjoy the western Solent in May. This event will make a great warm up for the busy season ahead, together with the Lymington Dinghy Regatta on 19/20 July.
