Burghfield SC RS Aero Open - Berkshire, UK, 29th March
Congratulations to Chris Rowland (Burghfield) who counted straight 1sts to win the Burghfield RS Aero open. Nigel Rolfe (Burghfield) took 2nd and Brain Staite (Hayling Island) 3rd, all in RS Aero 7s in a nice medium breeze and glorious 'Burbados' sunshine.
Next up for the Southern UK's RS Aeros is the Southwestern Champs at Restronguet SC, Cornwall on 3-5 May followed by the Spring Champs at Island Barn RSC on Sat 10th May.

RS Aero Thames Valley Mini Series
LAST CALL - early entry discount until Wed 26th
These early season events are an ideal way to get set for the new season. With 4 races scheduled around the tight confined race track at Burghfield SC this open meeting is a great way to spend that day practicing your RS Aero race skills to prepare for this summer's main events!

These early season events are an ideal way to get set for the new season. With 4 races scheduled around the tight confined race track at Burghfield SC this open meeting is a great way to spend that day practicing your RS Aero race skills to prepare for this summer's main events!
Burghfield SC also invite sailors who would like to stay over to also sail in the club racing on Sunday 30th for the Burghfield Commodore Cup. This will be a similar race format to the Saturday, with two short races in both the morning and the afternoon.
Format: 4 races with a nice lunch break
Catering: Morning food and a hot lunch food will be available
Camping: Space in the carpark for tents and campervans and the fox and hounds pub is 300 yards away for evening meals and beer!

Burghfield SC is a thriving club in an accessible central location just south of the M4. In all of our events at Burghfield we have enjoyed fabulous racing with good turnouts with their large home fleet. So come and join a great day's racing as an excellent way to prepare for the start of summer!
