Exmoor Beastie - Wimbleball SC, Exmoor, UK, 23rd March
Great to see 6 RS Aeros turnout within the total entry of 30 for the Exmoor Beastie at Wimbleball Lake, high up on Exmoor and hosted by Wimleball SC.
Top RS Aero was Luca Mitchell (Paignton SC, RS Aero 7) who managed a 3rd overall, behind Simon Hawkes' K1 in 1st and Chris Dyers' Blaze in 2nd.
The Beastie was the final event of this winter's Southwest Series. 124 mixed Class boats took part and after 7 events across the Southewest UK four RS Aeros had made it into the top ten with Luca securing 2nd, closely chased by Zak Mitchell in 4th. The series went to Angus Cook & Leila Farmer's Firefly who scored a stead 4,4,3,5.

An annual mass Pursuit Race classic at the rural Wimbleball Sailing Club that takes in a scenic tour of the branches of the beautiful Wimbleball Lake, high up on Exmoor. why no make a weekend of it in this lovely location?!
