Less than one week to go until our inaugural SW Championships event at Restronguet SC and the Late Entry fee now applies. The list of entries to date (27th April) can be found at

The SIs will be published tomorrow, so be sure to get your entry in soonest. Do not forget to book your tickets for the BBQ on Saturday evening when you make your entry, as we need to know numbers ahead of the event please.

The sponsors will be on site to demonstrate their Aero-specific car topping system produced by Kari-Tek Products.

In 2025 the RS Aero Southwestern Champs visits Falmouth in Cornwall to enjoy the beautiful setting of Restronguet Sailing Club at Mylor, overlooking the Carrick Roads. The racing area is within sight of the clubhouse and there is a campsite run by Coastland backing onto the club.

A six-race series is scheduled over the 3-day event with additional option of racing along with the club on Sunday afternoon for free.

The social programme includes a pre-booked BBQ on Saturday, a pay-as-you-go supper at a local restaurant close to the club on Sunday, and a Cornish Tea to whet the appetite for the prize giving on Monday.

The Early Entry for the inaugural RS Aero UK SW Area Championships 2025 (3rd-5th May) at Restronguet SC closes at midnight next Friday, 25th April. It will still be possible to enter up to registration, but at the Late Entry rate. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful Cornish waters over the Early May Bank Holiday weekend. The cost of the 'pay-as-you-go' Curry Supper on Sunday evening, 4th May at Castaways East will be £18 per head. Contact Patrick Clarke ([email protected]).
