Wurstfest Regatta - Canyon Lake, Texas, USA, 2/3 Nov 2024
Eight RS Aeros joined the Flying Scotts, Lasers and Sunfish for the annmual Wurstfest Regatta to end the Texan RS Aero season. The RS Aero Class raced as a mixed fleet with all rig sizes represented and the results based on the Class recommended corrected times (as found in the Class Rules), enabling one overall RS Aero score sheet.
Congratulations to Hank Saurage (RS Aero 6, Pontchartrain YC, LA) on his string of wins to take the event from Ash Beatty (RS Aero 9, Lake Canyon YC) in 2nd, Ryan Shubin (RS Aero 5, Viridian SC) in 3rd and George Broyles (RS Aero 7, Viridian SC) in 4th.
