RS Aero USA Womens Championships - Fairhope Yacht Club, AL, USA, Oct 4-6
Sailors at the 2024 RS Aero Class USA Women's Championship had a blast at Fairhope Yacht Club, Alabama. It was amazing to have participation from as far afield as Washington, New York, Connecticut, Lake Michigan, Florida and Texas.
Competitors got to sail with and meet some incredible RS Aero ladies from opposite corners of the country, enjoying some wonderful southern hospitality and gorgeous sunsets! Above all a great time on and off the water - what an amazing event!

Jaime Mack (Hood River YC & Seattle YC, WA) was 1st RS Aero 6 and 1st overall based on corrected time scoring.

Magdalena Chavez (Viridian Sailing Center, TX) was top RS Aero 7 in 4th overall and Catie Yeager Monroe (Fairhope YC, AL) top RS Aero 5 in 2nd overall.

RS Aero USA Womens Champs - Fairhope YC, Alabama, Oct 4-6th
The RS Aero has numerous features going for it and the four different rig options are one of the design's most important attributes. The four sail sizes to choose from open the door for sailors of all sizes, heights, ages, abilities, attitudes and sexes to all enjoy the boat's sparking performance.
The RS Aero Class wisely supports regattas that are open to mixed-sex sailors and also women's-only regattas. This weekend sees the 2024 RS Aero USA Womens' Championships take place on Mobile Bay, Alabama, from October 4-6th hosted by the Fairhope Yacht Club with entrants from as far afield as Seattle, Washington; New York City, New York; Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and Dallas, Texas.
Trin Ollinger looks forward to welcoming all the competitors to her home club;
