5 RS Aeros joined the Loch Lomond Dinghy Open alongside a GP14 fleet and two mixed class PY fleets.
Saturday was a great day's racing and 3 races were achieved in a light breeze. Unfortunately after a misty start on the Sunday the wind failed to fill and no racing was possible.
Congratulations to visiting RS Aero PeterTaylor (Dalgety Bay SC) on talking the win in his RS Aero 7 from David Sparkes (Loch Lomond) in 2nd also in an RS Aero 7 and Duncan Hepplewhite (Loch Lomond) in 3rd in an RS Aero 6.

RS Aero Scottish Circuit
The Loch Lomond annual dinghy weekend for members and visitors alike takes place during the first weekend in September on the eastern shores of the loch. Enjoy some great racing in one of the most beautiful places to sail in the UK !
The bar will be open from Friday night, breakfast will be available both days and the galley will be serving food and drink throughout both days. There will be an evening meal available on the Saturday as well as a bar serving a selection of beers, spirits and wines. The evening meal must be purchased in advance as tickets may not be available on the day.
Loch Lomond SC look forward to welcoming you to their bonnie banks and it would be great to see the RS Aeros enjoying the event with our growing numbers in Scotland!
