German RS Aero 7 Championships - Travemunde Woche, Germany, 20-23 Juli
Fantastic to see 27 RS Aero 7s at Travemunde Woche for the German RS Aero 7 Championships. In addition to the large German entry 5 other countries were represented with UKR, GBR, BEL, NED and AUT all visiting.
As always, Travemunde provided the most splendid sailing festival, both afloat and ashore! The Baltic Sea showed its very best side and gave the RS Aeros 10 ultra exciting races!
Congratulations to Sofiia Naumenko (Ukraine) on a commanding win, with eight 1sts in 10 races, to add to her recent RS Aero 6 European Championship title from last month. Juliane Barthel (SC Dummer) made it a female top two with a solid string of 2s and 3s across the results. Marcus Walther (DSCL Frankfurt) dropped to 3rd after the last race when he scored a DNE.
