The RS Aero Gulf Coast Championship was hard fought at the Sir Thomas Galloway Regatta, hosted at the beautiful Gulfport Yacht Club in Mississippi with three states represented.
Winds were light, varying from 5-12 knots throughout the weekend. Eugene Schmitt took the top honor for a second year in a row. Buzzy Hauesler and Ash Beatty completed the podium, tying for 2nd place, with Buzzy prevailing to take 2nd and Ash being awarded 3rd. Eugene’s son Keeg, took top honors in the junior Sunfish class too!
