Anyone else had the black plastic mainsheet base fail. The part the swivel clips into. Doesn't look like that can be puchased separtely either which is a shame the swivel bit is fine just the larger base. Part appears to be labelled a retro-fit - has it changed again?
Where the screws go through the base it has shered off - looks rather weak to take the whole mainsheet load. For now I've just removed all the plastic and re-fitted just screwing the stainless steel hoop on (holes are in the same place) which I think is how the old boats were.
