Hello, I'm considering fitting the RS Aero/ RS 200 grab rail onto a different class of singlehander to assist recovery following a capsize. Can anyone enlighten me as to the reason for the carbon fibre insert. Is this primarily to provide reinforcement and spread the loading on the side tank?
