Caution-Those are puncture wounds and there is liekly to be more damage on the insdie-the inner skin will have split away and will need a fairly extensive repair I am speaking through personal experience and I would suggest a professional repair

I have a punture on both sides of the boat, in the middle,
Under the gunwale, right about where the boat sits on the trolly (where the handles are). I realized that the blue plastic covers that protects the boat from the aluminum, had slipped and mostly like the when getting the boat out of the water, the hull hit the aluminum edge.
Any suggestions on how to fix the puncture and make it looks nice again?

I managed with some difficulty to get a pot of the correct gelcoat from RS - RS100 white. It is a perfect match and we're fortunate to have an obliging member who is really good at virtually invisible gelcoat repairs!

I did a minor repair filling a chip on the bow where I'd bumped into the trolley cross member when recovering the boat a couple of weeks back
I tried the plastic padding gelcoat and whilst it was easy to use I'd say that it is marginally more yellow than the natural boat colour.
Really not an issue for the 5mm chip I treated, but is a potential caveat. I've not tried the RS stuff

For gel coat repairs in the U.S. I use West Marine gel coat,white. The underside of the daggerboard slot may have some gelcoat chipping, there I use Marine Tex epoxy, white, it is stronger that gel coat but not a perfect color match.

I use plastic padding white gel coat repair. It seems a good colour match and dries really quickly (unlike the stuff from RS). About a tenner from Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gelcoat-Filler-Plastic-Padding-165gm/dp/B0017YAX32/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1465590380&sr=8-1&keywords=gelcoat+repair+kit
It's lasted well on the rudder 'wearing' edge.
