Welcome to the International Class Association website for the RS Aero. Here you will find all there is to know about the RS Aero including the latest news, how to register your boat, and links to relevant documents.
The two holes at the rear of each gunwale were to attach the bungee take ups to the control line tales, when RS Aeros oringinally had the control line tails led under the gunwales. The preference evolved for sailors to lead those tails over-deck, as permitted in the Class Rules, and in 2019 RS Sailing started supplying new RS Aeros that way and no longer added the holes to the rear of the gunwales. The through gunwale fittings and the under gunwale barrell leads were also removed from the spec at that time.Reply 12/03/2025 10:00:00

In the past they were used for the underdeck control lines (outhaul and downhaul), as far as I know. Due to the fact, that actually the control lines are overdeck these things are not anymore required.Reply 10/03/2025 21:19:00

What length of centreboard gasket does the aero need. Their web shop sells by the metre? Reply 29/04/2024 05:49:00
