Andy.
I intend to be at the club on Sunday. I can have a look at it then for you.

Thanks Peter. Yes, it's a really snug fit which is great and it feels nice when helming, Just the right load etc. I may just have a tight clip so I might try a bit of silicon spray on it. Feel free to take a look but I am not around Sunday. Cheers.Reply 22/01/2015 17:23:26

Mine takes a bit of wiggling but I'd hate there to be any slack. What I would quite like is a big wing nut so I could tighten the bolt a shade more easily and potentially slacken when coming in. I don't want ANY give in rudder fittings.Reply 22/01/2015 16:24:08

Andy, I can have a check on Sunday and Junior might be down too.
I would much rather it was tight than lose, but we can have a look .

Had a nice sail out to the solent this lunchtime in 1176 with Simon W, sunny and a gently F3.
Really like the boat but has anyone else got a really tight fit on their rudder Gudgeon and pintle? I slid the the blue clip but it barely moved and I found it a real struggle to lift the rudder off without lifting the boat off the trolley. In the end some serious wiggling did it but with cold fingers it was pretty tricky! Hopefully it may become a little easier in time.Reply 22/01/2015 16:04:56
