I did exactly that. Plastic chopping board cut to appropriate size and screwed to back of light board. Bought two gudgion pins then screwed to chopping board at centres to suit boat. Tie ends of light board back to cover straps on both sides. Can't confirm it meets with UK/ EU regulations! But works a treat and so easy to fit with no stress on boat fittings.

Hello everyone,
I'm planning to adapt my light board to get it set on-top and across the back of my Aero.
Did anyone already use the board bracket slided into the gudgeons on the transom? Could be even simpler... Any suggestion for this? Need to be UK-compliant.
