Sail setting off wind

For the reaches; I suggest cunno right off and outhaul eased. Ease the kicker but be wary of over easing it as you will lose the power out of the leach.

With this rig you do need a little kicker downwind to create the sail shape and lose the crease. Cunno must be right off though.

So I had my first sail this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Whilst it's difficult to tell from one race, where the conditions were gusty with big holes, I did feel that I could not get the sail settings right off wind. Up wind felt good, pointing well and good speed but off wind the sail looked wrong with a big crease at the front and no power. Anyone have any thoughts on which bits of string to pull, or not pull, off wind.

Thanks

Travis
