Ken's continues his adventures with his RS Aero 'Yodare' in earnest on his quest to round 183 Islands off England and Wales to raise funds and awareness for the cancer charities, Oakhaven Hospice and Cancer Research UK.

Yodare is off on adventures again! Ken Fowler continues where he left off at the end of 2019 in his quest to round every island of England and Wales in his RS Aero 'Yodare' in aid of his cancer charities, Oakhaven Hospice and Cancer Research UK.
Ken reports live from his South Wales base camp; Yoda's adventures continue Tuesday 8th in the second biggest tidal area in the world!
So Yoda is safely camped in Wales ready for 9 days of sailing adventure (weather permitting as ever!). Tomorrow the aim is to sail round 3 islands in the Bristol Channel - Flat Holm, Steep Holm and Sully Island. It's a 20 mile round trip in the second highest tidal area in the world - so timing is really important. Hope to launch around 0930 - follow me on the live tracker!

It feels so good to finally be on track again and raising funds for Oakhaven Hospice and Cancer Research UK after the devastating impact Covid has had upon their fundraising. As ever all donations towards this crazy adventure are greatly welcomed no matter how large or small - they all make a difference.
