Thanks Marc, will certainly consider a 6.

What about a 6? Should be a good fit for your weight. A 6 sailed by Ellie Craig beat everyone around the course (boat-for-boat!) in big breeze at RS Fest Miami.

I'm new to the class, I weigh 155lbs (70kg) and sail in the San Francisco bay.  As many of you know it can get quite sporty here, 20-30 knots.  I have a 5 rig for that reason, but usually sail my 7.  I'm curious, if it is blowing 20 knots, would I be faster in my 5 or at least competitive with a 7 or 9 rig with a heavier sailor?
Thanks,
Napa Scott
