JS Strap Rigging

Hi Peter, and many thanks on all counts. I'll start again with the set up as it look as as if from what I received, it must have been wrongly rigged for the shock cord bights to be sealed as they are, with nothing run through them.

Thanks again,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Congratulations on your RS Aero and welcome to the RS Aero Class!

It is best to rig the JC Strap as per the rigging guide. That is optimal and the most certain way to be Class Rules legal.

Hi. I've recently inherited an Aero and am slowly getting to grips with it! The JC Strap as rigged - see photo - has the 2 loops but no plastic clips bent on to these loops. Do I need to cut the loops, obtain plastic clips and re-tie as per the rigging guide, or am I missing an easier trick that would avoid cutting the eyes in the shock cord? Many thanks!
